He had been requesting an average yearly salary of about $30 million in his next contract from the G.S. Warriors after he had some of his finest games of his career. However, it has been claimed that he does not want to return to the Golden State.

On the other hand, according to prominent NBA journalist Marc Stein, the Brooklyn Nets are not in a hurry to speed up their contract with Cam Thomas' representatives. This is because he, just like Josh Giddey, is seeking a wage that may be viewed as ambitious. Teams are forced to play the waiting game in this scenario, weighing their choices before making such large commitments.




The situation is comparable for the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors. Josh Giddey and Jonathan Kuminga want to ensure their financial stability in the league.
