Crystal McKinney, who filed a lawsuit against the controversial singer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in May 2024, has now filed an amended complaint against the disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, which was initially filed in February 2025.
According to People magazine, McKinney sued Diddy for drugging and sexually abusing her. However, in the amended complaint against Weinstein, which is unrelated to the American rapper, McKinney has accused the 73-year-old of assaulting her and her friend in a Manhattan hotel room in 2003.
What happened between Crystal McKinney and Harvey Weinstein?McKinney claims that she received a call from an unnamed modelling agency executive, stating that they want to set up a meeting for a potential acting role. She took another model friend with her to ask for a role for her as well.
The meeting was set up in the popular West Village lounge in the evening. However, as Weinstein arrived, he repeatedly insisted on knowing the women and their real selves better, suggesting that to take the meeting somewhere else as the lounge was crowded and loud.
Harvey Weinstein 'piled' them with alcohol...
When they all got in a hotel room, McKinney claims that Weinstein ‘piled’ them with alcohol, ordering several bottles of ‘Boulevardier and Dom Pérignon’ and ‘vodka cocktails.’ Furthermore, she alleged that at one point, Weinstein grabbed her chest and ripped her tank top apart, leading her to slosh the drink on her clothes, and she ran to the bathroom.
Weinstein joined her in the bathroom, soon after her other model friend did, and made advances by asking them to strip and join him in the bathtub. In the report, she said that she had to obey as they were frightened about the repercussions if they did not, feeling backed into a corner.
She further stated that he directed the women to engage in the acts before he dragged them to the bedroom. Following the assault, Weinstein allegedly left the room abruptly. In the filing, Cystal stated that Harvey’s assistant soon called the hotel room. When the actress described the incident, the assistant allegedly asked them to leave the room immediately without addressing the complaints.
