With darker months and wetter roads, motorists might experience car troubles. There's a product on Amazon, however, that might help - and it's currently dicounted, saving shoppers some cash.

Shoppers prepping for harsher weather could look at Amazon's AstroAI Tyre Inflator Air Compressor 12V DC in black and yellow, currently priced at £15.99, down from £19.99. Another colour, black and red, is also available at £16.99, down from £20.99, but it's worth noting these prices are exclusively for Prime members.

The brand says this product is recommended for tyre inflation for cars and motorcycles, but it is also universally compatible with bicycles, basketballs, swimming rings, and more. With its auto shutoff feature, it will automatically shut off once it reaches the preset value.

The product has a large digital screen that displays the tyre's real-time pressure for a more accurate and intuitive experience, the brand says. It also has an ultra-long power cord and emergency LED light.

Buyers could also look at Halford's Michelin Digital Inflator With Quick Release Valve, currently priced at £36, down from £45. It features a digital gauge, a patented quick release valve, and the motor can efficiently inflate a flat tyre to 30 PSI in approximately four minutes, according to the brand.

On the more pricey end, shoppers could look at the DEWALT DCC018N-XJ 18V Li-Ion XR Cordless Inflator - Bare from Screwfix. It's currently priced at £109.99, down from £129.99, features an auto-shut off, and it can inflate items like tyres in approximately 400 seconds, the brand says.

Buyers at Amazon were impressed with the AstroAI Tyre Inflator Air Compressor, leaving an average 4.5 out of five star rating, from more than 7,000 reviews. One review said: "This air compressor works well and it is very fast too on my small tyres. It's easy to use and of a handy size. I haven't noticed it getting hot, but I do use it only for a few seconds on each tyre."

They added: "I haven't used it on a very deflated tyre yet, just for a top up, and for that it works great! It is a bit noisy, that is true, but I believe they all probably are. I have (had) it for a few months now and it works well."

Another said: "Works very well. Been using it for a while on my car wheels and had no problem. Light weight and durable. Universal. Easy to use and assemble. Pumps quickly with accuracy. Comes with a case. Easy to store."

A third wrote: "I used to absolutely loathe going to a petrol stations to fill the air in my tyres - I'd invariably run out of time and have to feed the machine, and get flustered if someone was waiting which there inevitably was... This AstroAI is a Godsend!"

Some cited difficulties, however. One review said: "Received this tyre inflater which worked intermittently as it seemed to have a loose connection inside. When it did work it was extremely accurate."

Another left feedback about organising the accessories. They said: "It was incredibly easy to use. My only criticism is that it comes with other useful fittings to enable you to use it for other purposes such as pumping up balls, air mattresses, etc., but such attachments often get lost and it would seem an easy win to have had a closeable compartment at the back to keep them in."

The AstroAI Tyre Inflator Air Compressor 12V DC is available at Amazon.
