Outlander: Blood of My Blood airs on Starz on August 8 and ahead of its release, Jamie Fraser star Sam Heughan attended the sparkling premiere.
The historical drama serves as a prequel to the original Outlander series, based on the book series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon. The original show's bosses have teased some potential crossovers.
The highly anticipated show follows the parents of Jamie and Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe), with Jamie's parents in 18th-century Scotland played by Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy.
Claire's parents amid the First World War are played by Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine. Heughan, who recently admitted there was one line he hates from the show, took to Instagram to praise the extended Outlander family, saying: "So proud of our @outlander_starz family!
"Congrats to the whole #bloodofmyblood cast and crew, heartwarming evening at the premiere with friends and family. Know you'll all love the show!"
The cast then took to the comments to thank the original star for his support, with Jamie Roy replying: "So glad you were with us!"
Harriet Slater replied with a heart emoji, with the official Outlander Instagram account responding: "Brb, weeping."
For the premiere event, the streets of West Hollywood were transformed into Scotland as a bagpipe processional greeted guests.

Earlier this year, Heughan opened up about the forthcoming prequel, promising fans they were in for a treat.
He spoke about the themes of the new series at Starz's online Outlander panel, sharing: "I think the romance is obviously what we're here for, but I think the love that they have amongst each other, amongst the Fraser family is so strong."
Reflecting on first hearing about Outlander: Blood of My Blood, Heughan said: "For me, I had no expectations and I was very, very excited.
"I think I might your number one fan. I can't wait to see what happens."
Fans will witness how Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie fall in love after a chance encounter, as well as the sweet wartime romance between Henry Beauchamp and Julia Moriston.
