Vicky Pattison has repulsed some of her fans by allowing her dog to lick her lips and face. The reality star provoked a backlash while promoting a dog food brand on social media.
The 37-year-old former Geordie Shore star featured in a short video clip for a brand called Butternut Box. Sitting on a platform, Vicky was chatting to a spokesperson for the brand while joined by her black Labrador.
The TV star and former I'm A Celeb winner is the proud owner of two dogs, named Max and Milo, who she adopted with her husband, Ercan Ramadan. But fans felt Vicky went too far when she allowed her pet to lick inside her mouth.

While chatting to her co-star in the video clip, Vicky opened her mouth wide while her dog enthusiastically licked around and inside her chops. Called out immediately, Vicky was told she was "gammy" - and she sheepishly agreed, saying: "I know. I'm so sorry. The thing is, I do it too... it makes them happy."
Fans were not happy, however, with many accusing the star of going too far. One repulsed followers reacted to the post, writing: "I love my dogs like my kids but nooooooo I couldn’t."
And another typed: "This is so disgusting. Then you kiss your partner and kids after that, spreading bacteria." TV fans will soon see Vicky in a new light - as a contestant on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing this winter.
She is among the 15 stars taking part in the glitzy reality contest - with actress Alex Kingston and TV presenter Ross King among others taking part.
Speaking to 2023 contestant Angela Scanlon, Vicky said in an episode of the podcast Get A Grip that she is not concerned for the alleged Strictly curse - signing up to the show a year after getting married to The Only Way Is Essex star Ercan.
She said: “No, so obviously I’m newly married, and the press are just, like, wild, aren’t they? I feel like the whole, like, chemistry between couples can easily be, like, misrepresented.”
She added: “For that side of things, I would absolutely really love a gay partner, just because I don’t want any of the rumours. But, like, you can’t go around requesting things like that.”
Vicky has proudly discussed her marriage to Ercan, sharing photos from their big day after they tied-the-knot in Marylebone Town Hall in London. She took to Instagram, saying: "I have honestly never felt happiness like it - the most special day of our lives."
Vicky's involvement in Strictly 2025 comes after she suffered a trapped nerve after taking part in a charity trek in Iceland. And earlier this week, a source shared concerns that this could come back to end the MTV star's Strictly dreams.
The source told The Mirror: "She was desperately worried that this wasn’t only not going to go away but that it could get worse."
They add: “Vicky isn’t a complainer, so when she says something feels bad, she means it. But she’s also a really tough person and has already shown that she can cope with pretty much anything – one thing she’s not, is a quitter. She needs to make sure she looks after herself though, that will be the most important thing.”
They went on to say, “Strictly has been the number one show on her wish list for years, especially after she went to watch her bestie Pete [Wicks] on it last year. This would be her time to shine and she knows that second chances don’t come around often.”
Vicky previously told her fans on Instagram all about her agonising condition. She explained: "It happens mostly in the winter when I’m cold and all hunched over and tight. “It obviously happened in the trek last week. And I’m just feeling it now because my body has relaxed for the first time in a week. But I can barely bloody move.”
