It was Movie Week inStrictly Come Dancing tonight, and the contestants did not disappoint. With Quicksteps, Sambas and Rumba's, there was something for everyone, and some amazing outfits to top it off.
The vibes were strong and positive throughout the night, and things ended with a bang when Lewis Copeand Katya Jones scored the first 10 of the series.
It was Motsi Mabuse who awarded the perfect score, as the couple absolutely smashed their Paso Doble to The Plaza of Execution from The Mask of Zorro. Even Craig Revel Horwood couldn't find anything bad to say as he called their routine "amazing".
Motsi was next to comment on the dance, as she told the pair: "Every movie night everybody just elevates. Everyone was really really great tonight, what a show! For me, this was the dance of the night without a question! You won!"

The couple were then left elated when they received a 9 from Craig, and they couldn't contain their excitement when they received the first 10 of the series from Motsi.
Anton and Shirley gave Lewis a 9, and some fans thought they spotted an 'awkward moment' between judges when the couple scored an early 10.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "Shirley absolutely fuming that Motsi gave the first 10 of the series. Turns out it is too early for a 10 from Shirley," as another wrote: "As if Motsi got her 10 out before Shirley. She'll be fuming!"

A third penned: "Shirley when she doesn’t give the first 10 of the series," along with a glaring gif.
The contestants were in high spirits throughout the night, however, there was one celebrity who wasn't in the line-up, as last night it was revealed that Stefan Dennis was pulling out of the live shows due to illness.
A statement on the official Strictly Instagram account read: "Due to illness over the past few days, Stefan Dennis has been advised by doctors to rest and, as a result, he will not dance this weekend.
“In line with the rules of Strictly, Stefan and Dianne will receive a bye through to next week when they will hopefully be able to dance again.”
A post in the comments from Dennis’s official account read: “A huge cheers and thanks to everyone who has been supporting myself and Dianne. So sorry to disappoint for tomorrow night but I expect to be back on deck with a full recovery and a rip roaring dance next week to make up.”
Dianne also commented on the post, in which she sent her love to her partner. "Sending all my Aussie love steffo. I know how much you wanted to dance!"
