We’re into day two Amazon’s Prime Day deals, and now is a great opportunity to snap up some winter essentials. One thing we’ll all be thinking about in the coming weeks is swapping our bedding for a set up that’ll keep us warmer as the weather drops.
Changing your duvet is the quickest and easiest way to keep you extra cosy during the winter, and Amazon has just slashed the price of the 13.5 tog Slumberdown Feels Like Down King Size Duvet. Usually priced at £31.19 for a king size duvet, it’s now just £20.46, whilst a double is £19.67, a single is £16.22, whilst a super king duvet is now £23.29.

The sale also applies to the 15 tog all seasons duvet, which is now £39.60 (down from £41.99), and you can even pick up a set that includes two pillows which also have discounts. However if you just want to snap up the Feels Like Down Duvet, the 13.5 tog is thick and insulated whilst still being breathable, keeping you comfortable and cosy.
The duvet is filled with ultra-soft fibres that feel just like down but without worrying about feather tips poking you while you sleep and without too much heaviness. This also makes the duvet non-allergenic thanks to its premium materials.

If you’re worried that 13.5 (or even 15) tog duvets are still not quite warm enough for the winter chill, Debenhams has also slashed the price of the Slumberdown Chilly Nights 15 Tog Winter Duvet by 48%. The king size option is now £24.92 down from £48, with everything from a single to a super king also slashed in price.
At Boots, the king size Silentnight Warm and Cosy Double Decker isn’t on sale, but is priced at £55 and comes in an ultra warm and cosy 18 tog that’s guaranteed to keep you warm even in the middle of December with no heating on. It has a unique double decker design which features two filled duvet layers sewn together, which create a warm air pocket that retains heat for maximum warmth and comfort.
However if you want to snap up Slumberdown’s Feels Like Down Duvet it comes highly recommended by Amazon shoppers. One said: “I've been looking for a light and warm duvet that wasn't Goose down due to allergies. The reviews for this were correct. It's lightweight, fluffy and cosy and warm. Very pleased.”
Another agreed: “Arrived quickly, really nice to use at night my kids love rolling on top of it too saying how it's fluffy and cosy to lay on. I'm looking forward to cold nights with this duvet it feels thick enough for winter and great value for money.”
Whilst a third said: “This duvet is first class, fluffy, thick yet very lightweight, so cosy and warm, I’m delighted with my purchase. Thank you.”

Some found issues, however, with one saying: “The duvet is very thick and warm, but the filling is really clumpy after only a couple of months of use. I have tried shaking it out but the filling isn’t redistributing. I’m having to buy a replacement duvet already so I would not recommend this one.”
Another wrote: “The quilt is really warm. Not too heavy and really good in general. The pillows though are truly awful. They feel nothing like the quilt material despite also being ‘like down’. They slip in the pillow cases where it’s a shiny outer material. They feel like poor stuffing. So annoyed I paid extra to have them. They have almost no support and am probably going to have to get new pillows for the sake of my back.”
However others couldn’t stop praising the Slumberdown Feels Like Down Duvet, saying: “Very happy with this duvet it is the best duvet I have ever bought and it has bought me nights of good sleep previously not experienced ! Highly recommend plus very good value too!”
