In worrying scenes, John opened the slurry tank, allowing the contents to leak out. Moira Dingle located the leak and quickly confronted her brother Mackenzie Boyd, with him soon being handed the blame.
It was Mack's responsibility to keep the slurry tank closed, leaving Moira quick to accuse him of neglecting his responsibilities. It had seemed that maybe Mack had left the tank open - although we know it was really John.

Lawrence Robb - who plays Mack - had previously warned Mack was in real danger in relation to all that was going on with John.
"The thing is with John, he obviously killed Nate [Robinson] but he didn’t do it intentionally. Could he go all the way with Mackenzie? I absolutely do think so. If John were to fall into that kind of spiral of being a serial killer, Mackenzie would be right at the top of that list. So on that basis, Mackenzie’s life is in jeopardy," he said.
"The audience know what John is like, so they’ll be worried for Mackenzie. I don’t think Mackenzie has seen the threat that John is, at this stage, so if there is a warning from John it’s not heeded by Mackenzie. If anything, it spurs him on. I don’t think anybody really knows how dangerous John is. If Mackenzie did, I think he would probably tread more carefully."
Mack and John have been feuding for weeks after he raised his suspicions about the village newcomer. Mack warned: "You might have fooled everyone in there but not me, because I can see right through you and it's only a matter of time before Aaron does too," as their feud reached boiling point with John claiming that Mack was jealous of him.
In tonight's episode, more worrying scenes aired. Whilst Harry continued to get treatment in hospital, it was revealed another two residents were poorly after drinking some of the contaminated water.
It was revealed that both Claudette and Charles had fallen ill, but will they be ok? The family joined a few years ago and quickly became at the centre of village life.
Charles is the vicar of the village and has taken a key role in most of the weddings and funerals in the village. Claudette arrived a few months later, with Charles shocked by his mother's arrival in the Dales, but could this be their final scenes?
