Channel 5's brand new period drama, The Forsytes, is being hailed as the perfect viewing for fans of Downton Abbey and Bridgerton, with its release just around the corner.
The upcoming six-part TV series is based on the novels written by author John Galsworthy. This marks the third television adaptation of the books, following the BBC's version in 1967 and ITV's edition 35 years later.
The latest adaptation has been crafted by Debbie Horsfield, with Meenu Gaur and Annette Laufer directing episodes. Executive producers on the project include Sheena Bucktowonsing, Debbie Horsfield, Meena Gaur, Damien Timmer and Susanne Simpson. Filming primarily took place across various locations in Bristol.
