"All this week, I've been presenting the Chelsea Flower Show coverage and this gave me the perfect opportunity to surprise someone truly special," Angellica began.
The emotional highlight came when the show celebrated Carole Hughes from Stamford for her outstanding commitment to a brain tumour charity, reports .
Carole experienced a tragic loss in 2006 when her three-year-old daughter Anna died from a brain tumour after spending 15 months in hospital.
Following the loss of Anna, Carole along with her husband Rob decided to fight for children facing similar battles.
"We wanted to help make a difference for children like Anna, and we went back to the hospital and spoke to the surgeons and oncologists, asking, 'What do you need from us?'" Rob explained.
Six weeks after Anna's death, Rob and Carole created the charity Anna's Hope in their daughter's honour.
The charity raises funds for dedicated occupational, physical and speech and language therapies for children with brain tumours.
In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, Angellica and Joanna Lumley presented Carole with a flower named after Anna at The Chelsea Flower Show.

Carole was visibly moved by the surprise, tearfully expressing: "This means so much to me."
Angellica was also deeply touched after the segment aired, commenting: "So special."
Joanna chimed in, saying: "It meant the to us to be there when she got that flower called Anna Hughes."
The touching segment also resonated with viewers, who took to X (formerly ) to share their reactions. One person penned: "Oh, that's so lovely."
Another echoed the sentiment, writing: "Aww that was so nice."
