In Hinduism, the child form of Lord Krishna, which is Laddu Gopal, is considered to be of special importance. He is kept in the house with love, service, and devotion like a small child. Many devotees always take their Laddu Gopal with them, whether it is a journey, going to the temple, or any special event. But the question arises, is it right to take Laddu Gopal with them everywhere? For this, both the scriptures and tradition tell some important rules, which are important to know.

Rules for taking Laddu Gopal with you
1. Considering Laddu Gopal as a living form:
Just as you take care of a small child, in the same way, Laddu Gopal also deserves service and respect. When you take him with you, you have to serve him completely and follow his decorum, take care of his bath, food, rest, etc. It is not just a symbol, but a vow to serve with a living feeling.
2. Take him along only when necessary:
If the service of Laddu Gopal may be interrupted while going somewhere or you will not be able to take proper care of him, then it is advisable to leave him at a safe place at home. Interruption in service is considered impurity.
3. Pay attention to the arrangements during the journey:
If you are taking Laddu Gopal on a journey, then a separate, clean place should be kept for him. It is good to prepare a small temple-like box (palanquin) in which he can stay safely and with respect.
4. Protection from impurity:
Many times during the journey, you may have to stop at places that are not pure (such as hotels, or public places). It is not considered appropriate to take Laddu Gopal to such places, because the service of God and the purity of the place are extremely important.
5. Follow the rules:
Wherever Laddu Gopal is with you, it is mandatory to follow some rules, such as:
Regular worship and offering of food.
Maintaining purity.
Give them rest before sleeping too.
If this service is not possible with full devotion during the journey, then it is best to leave the Lord seated at home.
What to do if you are unable to take him along?

1. If for some reason you cannot take Laddu Gopal along, then you can install him at a holy place at home.
2. Give him a bath, dress him in new clothes, light a lamp, offer some prasad and pray.
3. Request in the prayer: “O Nandlal, I will be away from your service for some time, please accept my absence. May my spirit of service remain.”
4. You can entrust the responsibility of his service to a trusted person at home, or he can also be put to rest after taking permission from God.
