The wait is over as the makers have officially unveiled the trailer of the highly anticipated K-drama, The Murky Stream, featuring Rowoon and Shin Ye Eun, Park Seo Ham, and Park Ji Hwan. Set in the Joseon period, the drama is among the platform’s tantalising line-up for 2025 and will start streaming from September 26.

The trailer for Murky Stream showed us a glimpse into a gritty, intense action drama that follows the lives of three young individuals navigating a harsh and chaotic world. Set in a time that feels misaligned with their existence, the story explores their struggles and defining choices. The K-drama is set for an exclusive release on DisneyHostar aka JioHotstar, on September 26.

Disney’s upcoming and first period drama The Murky Stream will star popular South Korean actor Rowoon, known for his lead roles in hit dramas such as Extraordinary You, Destined With You, and The King’s Affection. He will be joined by Shin Ye Eun, a rising star in historical K-dramas with notable performances in The Secret Romantic Guesthouse and Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born.
