The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) exam dates. Candidates preparing for the NTA JEE Mains 2026 exam to pursue engineering courses can check the JEE Mains exam schedule by visiting the NTA's official website. The JEE Mains exam will be conducted in two phases by the NTA. The online registration process for the first and second phases will begin soon.
Exams to Begin
The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Mains 2026 Phase I exam between January 21 and 30, 2026, and the Phase II exam between April 1 and 10, 2026.
Registration Process to Begin Soon
The online registration process for appearing in the JEE Mains exam will begin soon with the NTA. Online registration for the first stage of the exam will begin in October 2025, and online registration for the second stage of the exam will begin in the last week of January.
Increase in the Number of Exam Centers
According to the NTA's official notification, the number of candidates will increase this year, as usual. Therefore, for the convenience of candidates, the number of exam centers in cities will be increased, so that candidates can find exam centers near their homes as per their convenience. In addition, the NTA will also provide better facilities to candidates with disabilities.
No discrepancy between the Aadhaar card and 10th 10th-grade marksheet
The NTA has also clarified in its official notification that candidates should carefully verify all the information provided in the documents before applying. Furthermore, all information provided in the 10th-grade marksheet and Aadhaar card must match. If a candidate's Aadhaar card is not updated, they must update it before registering. If any information on the Aadhaar card is inconsistent with the 10th-grade marksheet, they should correct it.
