IIM CAT 2025: IIM Kozhikode has extended the last date to apply for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. Now registration can be done till 20 September. Earlier, the last date to apply was 13 September. Candidates who want to study in top management colleges of India should apply by visiting the official portal iimcat.ac.in.
The CAT 2025 exam will be conducted on 30 November in 170 cities across the country. The exam will be held in three sessions. At the time of application, candidates will have to give the names of five exam centers in order of preference.
When will the CAT 2025 admit card come?
The admit card for the CAT 2025 exam will be released on November 5, 2025. It can be downloaded from the official website. After the exam on November 30, the result is expected to be released in January 2026.
The application fee has increased.
The application fee for the CAT exam has been increased this year. General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 3000. Earlier, it was Rs 2500. At the same time, the application fee for reserved category candidates is Rs 1300. Earlier it was Rs 1250.
CAT 2025: Eligibility for the CAT exam
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates).
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of graduation or who have completed all the requirements for the degree and are awaiting the result can also apply. They will have to submit a certificate (issued by the prescribed date) from the Principal or Registrar of their University/Institute, which clearly states that they have completed all the requirements for the degree/equivalent qualification.
Candidates applying for CAT 2025 must fulfil any one of the following conditions:
a) Have completed a graduation degree with the required percentage of marks.
b) Have completed a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/FIAI) with the required percentage of marks.
c) Be in the final year of graduation and have completed the required percentage of marks.
Note: Minimum marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates are 45%. Minimum marks required for General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates is 50%.
