Alejandro Garnacho is said to have agreed on personal terms with Chelsea.
football.london understands the Blues are in talks with Manchester United over signing Garnacho, with the club being long-time admirers of the Argentina international. Chelsea considered a move during the winter transfer window and retained their interest despite already signing Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Garnacho is not part of the Man United first-team during pre-season, much like Jadon Sancho, and how Marcus Rashford was not before joining Barcelona on loan. There is a belief that the wantaway winger is keen on joining the Blues before this summer.

The journalist Fabrizio Romano claims he only wants Chelsea and has already agreed on every detail of personal terms with the west London club. He adds that it is a done deal on the player's side, with talks between the Blues and Man United over a fee due to follow soon.
Romano also reiterates that Chelsea are pursuing both Garnacho and Xavi Simons rather than either or. football.london were told by an insider close to the deal earlier this week that the expectation remains that the Netherlands international will sign for Chelsea this summer.
Man United head coach Ruben Amorim effectively confirmed the club's plans to sell their out-of-favour player earlier this month. "I think Garnacho, you can understand and you can see, he's talented, he's a really talented boy," Amorim acknowledged.
"Sometimes things don't work out, you cannot explain specifically what it is, but I have the feeling, I think it's clear that Garnacho wants a different thing with a different leadership, and I can understand that, so I think it's not a problem.
"Sometimes you adapt to one guy, you have the connection; other times, you want a new challenge, so we try to make everything okay to all the parts; to the club, to the coach and to the players; it's a natural thing in football."
